Suck It Up!

Okay, now "brace" yourself (pun intended) because today's rant lends itself more to the side of "too much information" or "unnecessary graphic illustration", but there is a message in it all... and thus, I teach...

Have you ever had a constipated bowel movement? You know, the kind where you're stuck on the "porcelain god" pushing and straining and rocking back and forth until veins pop out of your forehead and neck? Despite your unrelentless efforts to try to get something to move, the blockage just stays there in an uncomfortable stillness... like boulders blocking the only safe exit of a cave... my bad, I had a flashback.

ANYWAY - It's not a cute moment. In fact, the faces we make through it all proves the experience to be quite UGLY... and thus, LIFE, my friends, can get just like that at times; especially, when you're trying to get to your next level of life and success.

So, what do you do when the poo won't move? YOU SUCK IT UP! (<-- right there, someone just sat straight up and grabbed their butt!) Yeah, it's uncomfortable and it may even hurt to hold on to things you REALLY need to move, but it's the only way to keep life going until what you're waiting for comes to pass. Then, your scowl turns to joy in knowing that, eventually, as you move forward, what needs to come out of you will, at last, emerge and you're back to singing "Kum-ba-yah" with the world.

So, all that to say this: Don't let a block, a rut, or a temporary setback in your life keep you from moving forward to your next level! The Good Book says that to all things there is a season. Therefore, in time, all things will come to pass at the right time... in God's timing. And though you may be frustrated with HIS process, your gratefulness to HIM can, too, be evidenced with a constipated bowel... because when it finally comes, you'll surely say, "THANK GOD!!"
